Tour the Top Driftless Area Wineries

Driftless Area WineriesFarming in the Driftless Area has transitioned through the years from a robust wheat farming culture to iconic dairy farms, and even partially into small tobacco farms. Ultimately, though agriculture remains steadfast in the Driftless Area, the the industry as a whole is transitioning once again.  Organic farming is taking over Driftless Wisconsin, and where tobacco farms once stood, you’ll find an increasing number of vineyards cropping up. In just one small county of Driftless Wisconsin alone, you’ll find 68 acres of grapes thriving on 32 vineyards.  The cold-climate grapes produce here are exceptional, and produce some of the finest regional wines around.  Get a taste of these distinct flavors first hand, as you enjoy a personalized wine tour around the Driftless Area wineries when you stay with us this summer at our romantic Vacation Rental.
